LHP Dan Meyer is in DC after completing his rehab stint. He’ll be activated from the disabled list in Chicago on Monday when the Marlins open a three-game series at Wrigley Field against the Cubs.
The way the bullpen has been pitching, the Marlins hope Meyer, who had been out with a strained left calf, can return to his 2009 form.
My guess is that LHP Hunter Jones gets optioned to Class AAA New Orleans to make room for Meyer.
